L1 D3

Alrighty, first official week of Simple Fit is finished. I did 3 body rows for every 1 pull-up. And my last 6 push-ups I did standing up on the wall.

L1 D3:10 pull-ups (30 body rows)
21 push-ups (on knees-last 6 on wall)
21 squats

Total time: 19 minutes

Great start and congratulations. I bet you didn't think you could do that a week or two ago.

In fact, not realizing how different each day's workout was, I didn't think I could do that after how I did on D1.

Pat your self on the back for sure. What part of DFW? I lived in Ft Worth and then has a ranch south of Mineral Wells.

No I left there about 10 years ago. In Las Vegas now.. I do miss the open room that was around the ranch sometimes.

I can't really image I've always been in the city parts of texas, fort worth/dallas. Not much open space around there.

Too bad, Going out into the country can be quite an eye opener. Oh well, Glad to see you getting through week 1. I assume you will be doing it again next week.

Just finished second week D1.I completed 8 rounds with good form.Time ran out in the middle of the ninth I finished it too. I was able to go the full 20 minutes this time so I feel really good!

Good job. I am staying with L6 tis week since I was happy with form on D3. Keep it up!!

Realized that the first time I wasn't doing the squats correctly, so I went slower this time.

Good job jenny. Slowing down is a good thing and is something i nned to do. I found in my Tri training that no one is paying me to do this so "slow down, Do it right, HAVE FUN" is the main thing.

Fun is being had for sure.

I think level 6 will have to be a part of my 5 year plan, but it sounds like you're doing really well to be doing that day 3 in under 5 minutes. Kudoes to you. I'm loving this. I can already tell i'm stronger than when I started. I'm going to get me something sturdy to stand on soon to practice negative pull-ups. Also workin' toward a full push-up, but I didn't have to finish any reps out on the wall this week so far. Looking forward to thursday.

Good job. Remember that a way to improve your push ups is to just get into the position and hold. I think you will see a big improvement when you start to practice the negative pull up.
