L2D3 in 4:50, which surprised me. Moving on to level 3.

Did two full pullups, then 33 negatives with mixed grips, followed by the pushups and squats.

I want to work in some body rows using my chinup bar. Any suggestions on some not-to-expensive but adjustible rings, or a way to make my own?

L3D1 - 17 Rounds.

3 full pullups, and the rest negative. This was a tough workout. More resting between rounds than previous Day 1s.

L3D2

Set 1: 2 chinups, 3 negative chinup grip, 10 pushups, 16 squats
Set 2: 2 chinups, 3 negative pullup grip, 10 pushups, 16 squats
Set 3: 2 chinup, 3 negative side grip, 10 pushups, 16 squats
Set 4: 1 chinup, 6 negative chinup grip, 10 pushups, 16 Squats
Set 5: 1 chinup, 6 negative side grip, 10 Pushups, 16 Squats

Total time 6:53

The 2nd chinup is usually a struggle and not to pretty. Also, I went running the night before and my legs were sore today, so the squats hurt a little more than usual.

L3D3 in 6:10. First three were full chinups; the rest were sets of negatives.

Better Endurance than last time. Less rest required.

Great progress, Davarm!!

Might I suggest next week that you take one week off and drop down to level 1 for one week. You'll be surprised at how much stronger you've becomed when you compare your new level 1 results to your original level 1 scores... and it will give you body a bit of time to recover before you tackle another week of level 3.

The goal should be trying to get all of your pull-ups done without subs. KEEP IT UP!!

Thanks djjd5000. That is my plan...do one more week of level 3 then go down to level 1 for a week.

I also want to incorporate body rows into the routine, and made a set of straps. I might stick with negatives for the time being, until I peak, which is bound to happen sometime in the future.

Level 3 Day 1 for the third time aroud. 19 reps, same as last time. Only had three real chinups; the rest were negatives.

Level 3 is definitely kicking my ass!

Completed L3D3 yesterday in 5:29. Thought I posted already, but looks like it disappeared.

Actually started out with 4 pullups, then negatives for the remainder. I was sucking wind pretty hard at the end.

Next week (starting tomorrow hopefully), I will go back to level 1 for a week.
