I did the routine in 5.36. That is yet another 10 seconds slower than last week. I have gotten 10s slower every time since I levelled up. I also am struggling with the pull ups.
I will try and get more sleep and hopefully will have more energy next week and I can improve on my time.

Dispondency over it turns out I'm an idiot and read the wrong line of the workout print out and did 16 not thirteen pullups! Which makes me happy I was only 10 seconds slower!!
My spirit is revitalised ready for day 1! :lol:

Hi all it's my birthday and I started my ripe old age of 32 with a new PR of 30 reps! Again I did horizontal inverted/body rows, I find I get a longer work out! I don't think I could have managed all pull ups :oops: my elbows would ache.
I truely have been re-invigorated I was absolutely boiling doing the routine tonight, it's surprisingly hot here in the UK at the moment! I struggled but glad I did!

26/05/2010 L2 - D2 Week 21
I managed all of the sets dead hang and each group of pull-ups I did in one go. This was a first, normally I am forced to do them one at a time by the end. This is great, and is where I want to be so that i can complete more on D3 with out rest, so I can hopefully improve my time.
I managed really good form on the push ups too.
I have tried to cut as many carbs as I can this week I am still eating loads filling up on salad etc. I have found I have more energy and getting better results on my workouts!
A good time too! I cant complain. I probably ruined it afterwards with a blow out birthday meal out lol!
Bring on Friday, really pumped with my recent performance!! :D

I did it in 4.04!!! Spanked it!! :lol: :lol:
What is impressive is that i managed it like this:-

In 5.36 :(
Its been a great week which I can only attribute to a nearly primal diet regime. I am a convert! No more stupid bad carbs! SO much more energy for my workouts!!
Now to start fearing next week at level 3! :D

It was bank holiday here on Monday and felt rough yesterday so did D1 today and will do D3 on Friday to keep my routine.
Only managed 15 rounds today, I set my timer for 20 reps but had to skip a few as I was struggling with the extra Pull-Ups (PU) (I sub for horizontal Body Rows (BR) on D1 to prevent elbow ache).
I am not disheartened as I managed the same amount of BRs total as my PR for D1 I acheived last week, but f&@k me they are hard to do in sets of 6 each time, they totally kicked my ass!
I may mix it up and try PUs next D1 and switch back to BRs if they get too achey!
D3 will be interesting! Looking forward to trying 16 again lol!! :oops:

Gives me a baseline to work on though!!
I also skipped D2 so lets see how I get on, on a proper week next week!

I managed to squeeze out 16 reps today one more than last week!
I did the pull-ups as 3x horizontal body rows again, very tough!

08/06/2010 W3 - D1 Couch to 5K running program
Went well trying to add this on my days off now the weather is nicer. Hopefully trim off some excess weight.
09/06/2010 L3 - D2
Completed with all dead hang pull-ups.
First time at L3 and first D2 that has actually made me struggle with the exercises other than pull-ups. These were hard but more so due to the extra push-ups. The last 2 sets I found the last couple tough not impossible but had to try hard to complete the 10. I also felt yesterdays run when doing the squats but this is good I suppose.
I can see why I found D3 tough last week without the D2 workout to work on overall stamina.
I will try and run tomorrow too! I am out of town on business but should be back in enough time to get a run.
Oh well D3 soon hopefully beat last weeks time for some more progress! :D

Managed it in 5.21, shaved over a minute off last week! My pull ups weren't the greatest form at the end but adequate for D3 I think.
1) I havent managed to run any more since my first run, my life conspired to get in the way (when I say life I mean work mainly)
2) I spent all day saturday building a shed and was wiped out after.
3) I went out kitesurfing Sunday for the first time since I got my kit, this also wiped me out but great fun, if not hard (I say kite surfing but was mainly kite crashing lol!).
Hence, I could not manage my usual Monday workout so did it tonight.

Managed 17 reps again one more than last week using again horizontal body rows.

Did it today in 4.31! Rest time of 3 minutes between sets.
Not bad since i was up early and drove to a seminar and back and am completely shattered!!
All dead hang pull ups too!

I did todays set in 5.32. A bit slower than last week but I think my form was better on the pull ups!
