Timed but, again focussing on very strict form!

Really felt the extra burn in my core and shoulders from keeping the form, I am definately going to continue to focus on form and worry less about reps and time and I bet that the rest will come along again soon enough.

I think the complacency of knowing the workouts etc has bred bad habits my form to try and do more and faster as I gain the benefits of extra ROM and muscle associated with this I will gain overall.

8.50 :| Almost a minute slower than last week but all best form.

The key is to hope to be faster next week, that will vindicate the extra time but show that my new goal of extra focus on form should pay off in the long run. Its effectively a change to my pace and the complete week is over now and a line in the sand is now set to improve upon.

I think the muscles built with greater attention to form should be better too, well heres hoping any way lol! :D My abs and sides definitely feel a stronger work out this week too.

Thanks, I will see how it goes in the coming week/s.

I am hoping that I generally improve all muscle in all areas of the ROM.

I need to improve endurance on D3 after the pull ups and the first 20 or so push ups my arms are like jelly!

I need more and better muscle!!

I managed 24 rounds 1 better than last week. This was tough though I felt like I had absolutely no energy.

Still focusing on the best form I can, felt bad because of the energy thing but still better than a couple of weeks ago.

Did these in 4.53.8, all rounds a couple of seconds faster than last week but with good ROM on pull ups (felt like a definite benefit from my recent focus on form).

Still struggling with the best form push ups the endurance didn't appear to up there with the pull ups, but the pull up form may have been the reason for this so I will just keep going!!

Overall good work out though! :)

Great result! Over 2 minutes faster than last week. My fastest D3 at level 4, I'm happy that my recent focus on form has paid off and feel really happy I'm back on track!

Still finding the push ups mega hard! My endurance is low, I'm still massively spent after the pull ups!

Went Kite surfing on the Sunday 5th and was wiped out from it really windy my whole body was blasted. Held off until I recovered and focused on D1 and 3 (Rest week any way).

6.56.3 Got through the pull-ups pretty well (not easy), but struggling with the quantity of push ups I can do in a row. I maxed out at 19 then struggled to do more than 5/6 in a row after up to 41. I must be just killing my shoulders and muscles on the pull-ups.

It will come! 37 weeks is amazing never stuck at a fitness routine this long ever. :D

Hey Neil,

I'm having the same trouble with my pushups. I had been working on the 100 pushup challenge before I started SF so I had gotten pretty good at pushups. But the last two weeks, pushups have been a struggle, even during my rest week (L1). Maybe it is the attention to form on the pullups. I've been more conscience of my form recently considering a little tendonitis in my elbow that I believe started up due to bad form. Anyway it feels good to know that someone else is struggling with pushups after focusing more on form. Maybe there's nothing wrong with me afterall, physically anyway. Take care, Neil.

recently i've also started struggling with my push-ups. it never used to be a problem, until i hit L4. as you say neil, maybe the 41 on L4D3 is a bit intimidating!!!

20/09/2010 L4 - D1 Week 38

25 Reps - set my clock for 27 reps, had to skip one at 17ish and 23 to catch my breath.

My left shoulder hurt while doing the last 4 or 5 reps not a bad pain just a dull numb type pain, hard to describe, not like I have felt before. I will keep an eye on it. However I did go kite surfing again on Sunday and maybe my left arm was just a bit more tired or I used my right arm more kite surfing so had to use my left more on Simplefit. Something was different anyway.

I am holiday next week so I will not be doing simplefit so I only have to get through 2 more days and my body will get a week long total rest.

12/10/2010 - L4 D3 - Week 45: Not Done, Got my new Kettlebell and dumb bells soo tried them out.

15/11/2010 - L4 D1 - Week 46: 25 Rounds (Alternating Chins and Pulls) Really tired today and some of the muscles in my shoulders hurt from kettlebelling! :lol:

Struggling at the moment to keep my focus hence the kettle bell to mix things up a bit and the massive post to get me back on track logging.

I cant face the Day 3 work out either I find it really tough. I will give it shot this week and hopefully get on OK.
