futureman's log

Post by futureman » Mon Jul 26, 2010 5:45 am

L5 D1: 22 circuits, finished last squat as the bell rang. this is my first attempt at simplefit and was not sure what level to jump in but this was very challenging.

L5 D2: 4:55, took one minute rest in between sets.

L5 D3: 3:40 (pull ups: 16, 6, 3, 1; push ups: 40, 11; squats: 51) i thought i would be able to knock out 51 push ups in a row but i had to break it up. i guess i'll move to L6 this week...

on the off days i did deadlifts 8X10 @ 225, Muay Thai training and some sprints...good week!

Anything near 30 is going to be tough!
And anything near 30 means you're close to beating the level.
(Except on Level 7 apparently :( )

(Your post says L6D2 instead of L6D1.)

@ cheapo: i'm approaching the level change as when i complete D3 under 5 minutes time to move up a level. is this correct?

L6D2: 4:47

each round was few seconds faster than the one previous except for RD 5 which was the same as RD 4. also did some medicine ball core work.

L6D3: 4:59:45

this was really close and really difficult. i think i was still shaking and sweating 30 minutes after i fininshed.

nice to finish a good week of workouts. mixed in deadlifts and Muay Thai, hiking and Stand UP Paddle Surfing on other days...

Under 5 is under 5. Welcome to Level 7!
Now I've gotta beat L7 before you or be forever shamed!
(When I level up it's always close.)
