Hello SimpleFit!

Decided to give this a try so I could prepare for boot camp. I've never been in particularly good shape but I don't have much choice now :twisted:

Current stats are:
73" Tall

Level 1 Day 1: 23 Rounds. I'm worried about the pull-ups because I had to do the substitution and didn't really feel like I was getting much out of it (leads me to believe I was doing it wrong.). Any suggestions on getting quickly up to speed on pull-ups or on a better substitution than the body rows?

Hi James,

Were you doing 3 sub pullups for each pullup? If so, then you should be fine and just continue to work up to doing a real pullup.

What kind of sub were you doing?

Thanks to both of you.

Yes I was doing 3. I ended up doing some of the body weight rows and did a few where you kinda jump up then slowly let yourself down. That last one is hard because my ceilings aren't very high :P

2 Pullups
6 Pushups
10 Squats

Total Time: 8:19

I think I could have done a little better on time if I'd stay focused and stretched a little better (day 1 killed my thighs!). Pull ups/Substitutions are still definitely my weak point.

Didn't have much access to the internet this weekend.

I decided that I would go ahead and do Level 1 for another round since my pull ups are so poor.
