L1D1 - 35 rounds
L1D2 - 9:29 including rests
L1D3 - not done.

I'm back! Long holiday was no good excuse, but breaking my thumb might have been. No lifting anything for 2 months. It sucked!

Last week:
L1D1 - 20
L1D2 - 11:51 (including rests in time, subbed everything)
No D3 because I've run out of week.

Oh and being back at level 1, with massive DOMs is terrible. Hopefully enough to make me never do it again!

Thanks! I am very surprised -- used negatives as main sub, whereas last year I was using "assisted" pulls by using a leg to lighten it up. Negatives appear to work better (or, second time around helps).

Well that was unexpected - big party weekend, ate like a pig, slept not a jot, then sympathy carb loaded my hangover yesterday with pizza for breakfast, icecream and coke for lunch, and thai with rice for dinner.

L4D1 - 21 rounds, NO SUBS!
L4D2 - 4:59
L4D3 - 6:16

I was VERY surprised when I saw a 5:XX on the clock when starting squats -- raced through trying to stay under 6 mins, but didn't make it.

hoping progress goes sub 6 mins, low 5 mins, under 5 mins ... but that might be wishful!

Ok, so repeated the "eat terribly and feel generally shitty for three days" programme this weekend as well! Foolishness! That game is OVER.

Not visibly losing fat and have been drinking a bottle of red wine almost every night, and only eating clean four days a week. Time to tighten the screws again for a few weeks. So will only eat clean for a while and no drinking at all for at least a fortnight.

L4D1 - 23 rounds, no subs.
L4D2 - 4:21
L4D3 - 4:57!!

I knew it was going to be close on the D3, but wow.

Used a good trick to get the pullups done in time -- sets of 4/3/2/1, times two.

The pushups were the slowest part by far this week!! I did something like 8/7/5/3 then 3/3/2/2/2 until it was over.

And squats just raced through (which was hard, but not earth shattering).

Was toying with staying put on Level 4 for an extra week but I'll push up to 5 and probably settle there for a month or two - can't see myself getting through it any time soon!

L5D1 - 16 rounds, felt tired before I started so just took it easy with plenty of rest. very sore today, pulls were the limiting factor and pushes weren't far off.

There are a bunch of us bunched up on L5 now. Welcome. I too expect to be here a pretty good stretch.

Hehe! Lvl 5 was my goal for the year. And I'm happily there a few weeks early. It's VERY hard going at the moment, so I think maybe in Feb sometime I'll be looking towards Lvl 6 (plus party seasons might ruin a few otherwise good weeks).

I am concentrating on form now and making sure I come all the way to a dead hang between pulls / varying the grip for pulls and pushes, taking squats nice and slow. Now that the big/easy muscles can keep up I'm making sure the supporting cast get some action and some time to build.

Well, that's my plan! What's yours?

Week Ending 25/12/11:

L5D1 - 16 rounds, negatives for the last 3 or 4 because I was ruined. Was feeling very NOT ready for a workout when I started, so not too bad.
L5D2 - 8:38
L5D3 - ran out of week!

My recollection (writing this on the 9th) was that this was a VERY hard week. I think because I was being strict with food I was undereating as well, so my performance doesn't feel like it's improving much.
