LOG, WORKOUT, FRONT TOWARD ENEMY

Post by front toward enemy » Mon Mar 28, 2011 5:48 am

L1D1:
20 rounds. Pushups and Squats are the easy part, it's the friggin pull-ups (and eventually subs) that take me down.
I'm 23, male, 5'7" and weigh in at 185. I put on about 35 pounds in my past 5 years at college. Looking to change that.

Welcome -- you're off to a great start. Keep it up!

Pullups are definitely the long pole in the tent for most, if not all of us. Legs are built for and accustomed to supporting and moving our entire body weight; arms and back are not. I reckon pushups would be almost as hard as pullups if we weren't supporting part of our body weight with our feet.

Hand injury at work. Unable to do any of this except the squats for now.
