Simplefit without pull ups

Post by goffries » Thu Aug 04, 2011 5:28 am

Is it okay to get on the simplefit program without having any pullup bar? My apartment manager wont let me screw anything into the wall to mount a bar, and i dont have the money for one those free standing pullup contraptions. Is there a easy cheap alterntive? Or can i just cut it out of the program and focus on the other aspects?

get yourself one ofthese contraptions. they fairly cheap (about USD50 here in South Africa) and works like a bomb!

Much like Ruli, I use one of these:

It works perfectly and is reeeeeally cheap on Amazon. No screws required or anything like that.
However, it may make little marks above your doorframe - but you can paint over them when you move out.

For anyone (beginners) doing substitution for the pull ups here is a low-cost way to do them with out special equipment:

Basically it's a rope and a towel draped over a closed door. The two ends of the rope allow you to do modified pulls
