L4, W7, D2 - Not really interested in improving times on this day anymore. Regardless, I did keep track of times, and they were 1:33, 1:34, 1:18, 1:19, 1:18. Total of 7:02, -26 from the previous week but not a PR.

L4, W7, D3. Pullups didn't go quite as well as last week (I got 6/5/3/2/2/2, but it took longer than last week I think) but I shaved off a lot of time on the pushups. Squats still easy. Final time was 6:39, which is a decrease of 41 seconds from last week! Woo! I don't think I'll finish L4 by the new year, but the level-up is definitely in sight.

L4, W8, D1 - Got in 28 rounds, +3 from last week and new PR! The only set I rushed was the last one, to get in under 20 minutes. The rest was just moderate pacing with no breaks longer than a couple seconds. This is probably pretty close to the most rounds I can hope to get in without speeding up the exercises themselves (not that I would try that).

L4, W8, D2 - Times were 1:15, 1:15, 1:16, 1:10, 1:09. Total of 6:05, -34 seconds from last week and a new PR. Day 2 is starting to feel pretty easy.

L4, W8, D3 - Time was 5:39, a full minute under last time. Pullups were 6/5/4/3/2, which is a format I've been aspiring to do without success for the last few weeks. Form on the last couple reps was subpar, though. I feel like I could probably finish L4 before January, except for the problem that I won't have access to a pull-up bar for the next two weeks. I'll have to do a substitute exercise and then jump back in, hopefully without losing any steam.

Terrific progress! That is a nice pullup progression. Good luck on your break. I think you'll blow through 4, if not at the end of the month then the first week in January.

Thank you! I hope so as well.

L4, W9, D1 - Only 20 rounds (-7). No pullup bar so I did door pull-ups, which seemed to me much harder. Also there is a decorative strip on all the doors in the house I'm in right now which digs into my forearms on every rep. Glad this is just a two week thing!

L4, W9, D2 - Times were 1:15, 1:14, 1:14, 1:15, 1:15, for a total of 6:13. Eight seconds slower than last week, but I feel like I can attribute some of that to the added difficulty of the door pullups. Day 3 will definitely be a challenge this week.

L4, W9, D3 - Unsurprisingly got a much slower time than last week due to door pull-ups...6:20 (+:41). I don't think I'll be passing level four until I can get back onto a real pull-up bar in two weeks! Pull-ups were 5/3/2/2/2/2/2/2, not so good.

L4, W19, D1 - Got in 23 rounds today (+3), although I feel like I could have made it to 25 or so if I'd put in some more effort. Door pullups are still irritating and a little painful but not as hard as last week. I'm starting to do some exercises from CC on off days from simplefit (the handstand pushup and bridge progressions) and I may add more of CC in once I get back home. I've been eating large volumes of good meals this holiday break and I hope this will speed my progression a little in the weeks to come.

L4, W10, D2 - Times were 1:15, 1:12, 1:13, 1:10, 1:17 - a total of 6:07. Better than last week, but still two seconds off my best.
L4, W10, D3 - Finished everything up in 5:36, a new record for me. I'm excited to be so close to moving up a level, but my form definitely suffered in a few areas once I realized I was going to get under 6 minutes. Gotta keep a watch on that. Next week I will be back to my home setup with a real pull-up bar.

L4, W11, D1 - I'm really hoping to get to the next level soon. Day one is starting to get tedious and its hard to stay motivated when the workout isn't challenging. Today I put on the radio to keep myself from getting bored, got 24 rounds (+1). If I'd been pushing myself, there was a lot of potential to eliminate time between the exercises, if I had desired to do so. On the bright side, form stayed consistent the whole time due to my leisurely pace.

On the negative side, I'd hoped to gain a little weight over the holiday but instead managed to lose a pound. How does that work?! I'm guessing it's probably due to my recent switchover to veganism (no ice cream, cheesy appetizers, cake, mashed potatoes, etc at family events)

I always need the music for D1.

Vegan is a hard route for weight gain. Do a Google search on "vegan athlete". There are people out there doing it very successfully.

50 is a pleasing number of pull-ups.

If you want to beat the level, you will need to get near 30 rounds on Day 1. I always beat Day 3 when my Day 1 is around 30.
