Mehul's Log

Been lurking for a bit and started the program a few weeks ago. Feeling committed a bit more now with the progress and so I want to motivate myself further by posting the log and keeping track of results and thoughts.

I'm 6'0'', 164 lbs, with a mostly vegetarian diet. No tremendous goals in mind, just improving overall strength, endurance, and fitness.

Week 1
L1D1: 13

Week 2
L1D1: 17

Week 3
L1D1: 21

Week 4

Is it time to move on to L2? I'm not sure what a good indicator would be aside from the sub-five minute marks on Week 4.

According to the "rules", you can move up to the next level once your day 3 times are below 5 minutes, so it looks like you're good to go! Nice job!

Nice start! The big hurdle for lot of people is getting to where they can do the L1 pull-ups. You're already there, so you should start seeing some pretty significant progress. The real trick now is making this 40 minutes per week a solid habit.

Thanks brmc72 and KTG,

Started out with L2D1 today and got 17 rounds in, wasn't expecting it at all. The thing for me is just working up that sweat is encouragement enough to commit to 40 minutes per week. The progress feels good folks. I took my time and didn't push too hard towards the end. Going to take a vacation this weekend so I'm going to be stretching this week out a bit before D3.

Took a week off for vacation, felt good to come back and stick with it. Took the advice and moved up to level 2 and I admittedly feel good about it. Was nearing exhaustion towards the end of the pull-ups on D3 but I powered through. I'm going back to L2D1 tomorrow and forge ahead for this week.
