picking up my workouts after a month and a 1/2 hiatus. Did a 'warm up' L3D3 a few days ago. Gonna pick up back at L4.

I am glad to read your post, feeling kinda lonely here lately. You always seemed to make consistent progress, I'm sure that wont change.

Thx pilgrim! Glad to see you're still at it and kicking ass!

So after my absence I dropped down a level... obviously I regressed :/

I'll stay on L4 till i pick up the progress. I also want to more consistently do pullups rather than chin ups... ill keep doing that.

Thank YOU mr fro. Good job on coming back. I cut out chin ups completely as they aggravated some old tendinitis in my left elbow. The pulls never seem to be an issue. Only dropping down a level after 6 weeks off is great, you'll probably beat L4 before you know it.

Hey welcome back! I'm also just returning from hiatus. I'm starting from L1, so don't know where I'll land. I would guess I'll be with you at L4 for at least a bit.

I'm actually modifying my workouts... not directly following the simplefit routine. So basically i'm combining simplefit w/ a convict conditioning routine. Basically I'm staying at L4 and when I beat L4 im stepping up to an exercise variant that is one level harder. For example, going from standard push up motion to "diamond style" (or something like that) and going from chin ups to neutral (palms facing each other) pullups. I also am using the pullup bar to notch the push up levels as well.

I've also modified D2 to be a bit more "strength" by adding an extra chin up and subtracting a few push ups. We'll see how this works out... I'll keep you all posted!.

That's a great plan. Do report on how you are doing the progression. Have you seen the diablo666 progressions? That might be another way to program it.

I agree...I'd definitely be curious to hear how increasing the difficulty of the exercises (vs. just increasing reps/decreasing time) works out for you.

@KTG: what are the diablo666 progressions? Sound scary...

It's a nice program of progressively harder variations of each or our exercises. They start easy and end really hard.

Had to go on hiatus again... just moved =(

So haven't made any progress w/ the new workout yet. KTG thanks for the site i'll check it out for the variations!

Started up again at level 5 by mistake =(... did a measly 11 reps. I'm gonna start over on 4 as posted above again.

Welcome back again :) It's hard to build the momentum back up when life gets in the way and you need to stop the program for a bit. It's been weeks since I started back up and I'm still trying to get back into a solid schedule.
