Thanks all. I really owe a lot to simplefit. It was the perfect intimidation-free workout I needed to get me off of my arse and get going. I really think it has PLENTY of challenge to it as well, for those who like the structure. I might start it back up after the 12-week program and a try or two at CF.

I have too many comrades in here not to continue to keep up with y'all!

Happy Thanksgiving!

I list the Simplefit site/people in the things for which I am grateful.

I'm in week 8 of the CF 12wk beginner program. When I'm ready, I'll test a simplefit workout to see what changed or not.

I did the 12 week cf ramp up. Finished it today. I just did 90 squats at 85lbs. Whew! Did .5mi on the bike in ~1:30 in between each 30 squats. I'll begin the CF WODs (scaled to buttercup unless I feel capable to go any higher) this week.

Peace people!

I think you'll scale a bit higher than I will - one arm pullups? HA!

I registered for the CF cert in Virginia Beach!

Oh my....

I have been doing Crossfit now since January. I got on the Zone Diet in April. I now weigh 210, down from 250ish. I got certified as a CF L1 trainer. I 've been training a couple of guys in my carport. For fun, I tried L1D1 with them.

I did L1D1 - 40 rounds! Full pullups.

Kevin - thanks again for offering me an un-intimidating way to walk through the door!

Weighted pull-ups 1-1-1-1-1-1-1 reps

Bodyweight 210

10 - 15 - 20 - 25 - 30 - 32.5 - 35PR

Don't know how I'm supposed to count this, but last time I did bodyweight 220 + 17.5 = 237.5 and this time I did bodyweight 210 + 35 = 245. Did I PR by 17.5 or 7.5? At any rate, this is a big deal.
