I've been doing the following bodyweight exercises:
5 pull-ups + 15 squats x 8
5 pull-ups + 12 push-ups x 8
In between I rest until I feel comfortable/confident I'll do the pull-ups in good form. This pushes my workout to about 40 minutes or so.
Two days ago I tried a tabata type structure hoping to decrease the time spent on working out:
pull-ups
squats
pull-ups
plank
Thing is, with the decreased rest I end up doing pull-ups with less range of motion so I was wondering, if I keep at this format, will my form/strength/endurance increase and achieve better results than if I stick to my old slow and steady format?
Anyone with similar experiences?
Also, what sort of results will I see if I stick to the slow and steady routine and after how long? On a scale of 1 to 10, with 10 being Frank Medrano?
