5k run

treadmill

lvl 7.0 4 deg incline

30:13

pretty frustrated. I should be running at 7 mph pace for this distance by now. Got a mile into it and felt like I was sprinting the whole time. time should have been 25 almost 26 min. Lot of slow downs.

Rung 4

15 squats
10 pullups
5 pushups

reverse Cindy pretty much. This would be a PR "so to speak" as the last one I got 9 rounds + 5 pullups in. Any way the goal is to hit 15 rounds before moving up.

11 + 2 pullups

1/2 a "Bradley"

five rounds
100 M sprint
10 pullups
100 M sprint
10 burpees

20:40

what an asskicker. Thought I would go further and faster. I did have to go back and forth to each exercise so lost a little time there.

Today was skill work.

Started with Snatches with bar unknown weight practiced with that then increased to 25 lbs bar then 45 lbs bar. Caught a lot of mistakes. not sure how many I did but I felt like I had been jogging.

Ten rounds of bodyblasters essentially burpee-pullup-knees to elbows

1 arm pushup progressions approximately 15 reps
pistol progressions 15 reps
broke sets up to 3 rnds 5 reps apiece.

4 rounds 17:46 of

20 double-unders
15 20in box jumps
10 35 lbs db swings

decided to follow a pack progression today and stay under 15 min. didn't make it. was supposed to be 5 rounds. once again the double unders. changed jump ropes so a little better. it was still 4 singles for every DU. Good news is I got almost 20 on first round without messing up. degraded pretty quick as I got fatigued.

4 Rnds FT

115 lbs Deadlift 15 reps
TTB 15 reps

16:04

Should have been 5 rnds but passed the 15 min mark. Grip strenth and shoulder pain was a huge factor on this. I can't do TTB the way they say to do it. every time I bring feet down and start swing I get sudden onset of pain in shoulder. I'm good if I let me feet touch floor and lower in a very controlled manner. But I also have to have my elbows bent some to execute the movement without pain. Not sure if its fixable. Grip was so weak by the time I got to 2nd round of TTB. Had to stop a lot to keep from total failure.

5 rnds FT

400M run
15 OHS 95 lbs.

16:04

only completed 2 rounds and just shy of three completing only 12 ohs. used45 lbs for correct form. still hard. and form degraded like crazy on 3rd round.

20 min AMRAP

5 pullups
10 pushups
15 squats
20 doubleunders

wow that sucked. everything was easy but the DU's. This was more skill work than anything else trying to get more than one in a row. Really looked at technique and tried to do em right like they say but still its a bitch. countless singles to the actual number of DU's.

3 rnds + 12 DU's

5 Rounds FT

10 pullups
30 pushups
50 squats
2:00 min sprint
20 lbs vest

To say this was tough would be an understatement. Took my time due to worries about the shoulder. Went well but really took a long time. Had to walk outside to do sprints which is approx a 30 second walk.

8 rounds 20 secs each exercise followed by 10 sec rest. tabata style

push press 55 lbs
alternating lunges

69 PP
70 AL

I looked on the xfit website and they doubled the speed I was doing just for one exercise. I'm curious how the hell I'm ever going to be able to push press 156 reps in 160 seconds. thats 1 sec per rep for all the rounds. And that is up and down for one rep. Thats nuts.

decided to change up today and do xfit total.

Back squat 1 rep
shoulder press 1 rep
deadlift 1 rep

may 13 was:

185/95/265 or 545

Today was serious pr day. feel pretty good. mad I didn't get 305 for deadlift. Total- 595 ( 50 point jump ) :)

205 squat- believe i actually could have gone up on this one
115 shoulder press: 20 lbs PR! believe I could have gone up.
275 deadlift, failed on 305 and 285

Weighted Pullups

3- 35
3- 40
3- 45
3- 50
2- 55

did well till I hit 55. On extension of 2nd rep I hopped off bar. Failed rep as far as I'm concerned. Should have stayed on it. Hopped back on bar and almost got the 3rd rep.
