I realized that my endurance at a faster pace peters out pretty much past 15 minutes which sucks. I wonder if that is a function of the xfit type workouts or not. Good news is that the last time I did a 5K I was over 30 minutes with a lot of stops and starts. Stopped this time at 1.5 miles. Was blowing air really bad. recovered and ran to finish. alternated lvl of treadmill started at lvl 7.8 went well to 1.5 miles. petered out pretty quick after that. walked almost 1/4 mile then ran lvl 9, 8, 7.5, 7.0.
sort of a mini-xfit warmup before and after run except did one round then stretching at the end.
