Sorry to hear about the bug and the stress. Gotta take care of yourself or all the push-ups in the world will be for naught. Hope you are over that hump soon.

SDHP 5x8 at 95 lbs.
Pullups 1x10, 1x10 (broken)

goal was 10 reps per set. I just couldnt get it up to the chin for ninth rep on SDHP. oddly enough I finished five sets. however, was so exhausted by the time I hit pullups I pretty much crapped out. after the first set. goal is to complete the assistance exercises at the standard crossfit weights/as Rx'd for movements. Realizing this is only the assistance workout but I figure I'm going to try to develop the different lifts for actual Xfit stuff. If I can do standard weight as rx'd after lifts then I'll be in a good position to actually do wods as rx'd. will adjust and reduce if necessary if my strength isnt going up.

Burpees max reps 30 seconds with 1 min rest between. five rounds. max reps 9 lowest reps 6. I was sure id get a lot more reps than this. I didn't realize how much time it takes to execute a proper burpee

dips 80 lbs assist 20 reps

assistance was more of a circuit type routine, did one exercise right after another for two rounds. Following the principle that if your working too hard on assistance your screwing up so reduced rounds and weight used. completed two rounds.

assistance

tucksit 4sets of 30 sec, failed last 10 sec of 4
box jumps 3 sets at 20 inches, performance degraded in 3 rd set
situps 3x20 didn't fail but was fatiguing quickly at last 5 reps

all assistance rounds were 60 sec rest between each. continuing to look at assistance from the perspective that I don't need to work as hard as the lifts. I think learning to quit when I start to get fatigued is going to be the only way. Doesn't feel right though. Give it a few weeks and see if strength goes up or down. If no improvement will go back to previous regimen of just crossfit for a while then do a restart possibly.

3 rnds plus 3 min running. Unsure of distnce but generally took me 3:48

going to preface this by saying I've had too much vacation and not enough working out.

1/2 mile run
30 pullups
60 pushups
90 squats
1/2 mile run

Fatigue skyrocketed right off the bat. finished the 1/2 mile run in 3:47 on treadmill at 8.0 mph. broke exercises up into sets so basically it was 5/12/18 of the calisthenics but only finished 2 sets. I was getting dizzy. Hopped on on the treadmill same speed and struggled to complete a 1/4 mile.

total time was 14:44.
Goal is to complete this in under 20 minutes.

played 18 holes of a par 3 golf course. Rules were you had to sprint to ball and however many strokes over par you had to do the equal number of pushups. On the last 9 holes you just had to do as many pushups as it took to get it in the hole. Was 90 something degrees, and we were lucky we didn't get heat stroke. Oddly enough my golf game improved by a large margin doing it this way.

29 May 12

Screwed the pooch on the workout this morning. Im a little pissed off. Todays workout was

AMRAP 20 min

200 meter run
5 pullups
8 pushups
12 squats

Like a dumbass I proceeded to start doing 24 may's workout for some reason so completed

1/2 mile run
10 pullups, 16 pushups, 24 squats
1/2 mile run

which was an incorrect version of 24 may so I don't have a f'n clue what I was thinking. Then I started back on what was supposed to be todays workout and completed 2 rounds of the AMRAP. Also f'd up the clock and started it sometime after the run and in the middle of the pushups, so no clue as to how much time i took to do all that.

Didn't push extremely hard on this today. Decided since my week went so badly last week I would just ease into it.
Another problem I've noticed the diet going to shit again and I'm back up to 193 lbs. Thats a 13 lbs gain in a very short couple of months. Back to the diet "drawing board"...

400m run
10 pullups
20 pushups
30 squats
400m run

Reality

Round 1 completed 11:54 minus 200 metres
Round 2 completed 4:38 only finishing 1/4 mile and 10 pullups

Ever since I started the Riptoe milk thing it seems like I'm going backwards.

hmm on 11 june 12 did double unders, mainly skilll work trying to be able to do consistently. Im good for 4 singles and 1 DU. Having problems getting past that
