W11 L2 D3: 4 min 30 sec.
This was yesterday. I also went for another hike in the mountains (for two hikes over the weekend). This time it was about 4 or 5 miles of walking. Now I suppose I'm to have a rest week. This won't help my attainment of my goal of looking great before this weekend, but I'm sick anyway, so whatever. A missed goal...story of my life...

That's a great time and you should be proud of it! Don't worry about missing goals, everyone does that. The important thing is, you're still in there trying. Sorry you're not feeling good though..

Did you say L2D3 in 4m30s?

Why yes I did! Thanks for the support guys :) What with being sick, and not having had enough time to properly achieve the goal, I don't feel too bad. I'm still super proud of myself for continuing. I love this workout :)

Back from rest week, in which I hiked. Once. And walked the dog a few times. And had strep throat.
Week 13 L2 D1: 31 rounds. 3 subbed body rows for pull ups; squats with 10 lbs of weight added. I moved the rings down lower for this workout which made me want to cry during push ups, and made me want to quit at minute 15.

Any idea what degree you were at with the body rows?

Hope you stay well.

No idea about the degree....I'll have my husband try and eyeball it from an objective point of view tonight when I do day 2.
Btw, I really love the video on livejournal! I think it'll help my form with squats a lot.

Don't use my form on the squats! I have a lot to learn!
Posted: Thu Jul 26, 2007 4:16 pm
really? it looked great to me! Way more arm motion than I ever used. Now I'm using weights, so my arms are at my side anyway, but...

I gotta tell ya - If I don't use the arms, I'll fall over!!!
I have difficulty with squats due to a couple of things. One is that, like most of my family (and a lot of taller people), I have slight scoliosis. My left leg is about an inch longer than my right leg. It isn't noticeable unless you are looking for it, or I am really tired. This can cause me major pain if I overdo the squats. I also have to really work on the "tight hip" issues related to the psoas and all of the pelvic muscles (a side effect of the uneven length on the shorter leg).
I will post the video for analysis and opinion from people here. Any good tips will be tested. If you need to - pay attention to the comments/suggestions related to the video.
Thanks for the compliment anyway!

Week 13 L2D2: 5 min 30 sec
I am told that I am doing body rows from an angle of 30 degrees when in the down position. Push ups are being done at about 45 degrees.
