Pay no attention to the ostrich....

L1D3 5:57! Subbing 15 negative pull-ups and 15 body-rows for the 10 pull-ups.

Emu - ostrich : Which one wins a 5K race?

I think it can all be summed up by a song by the Scared Weird Little Guys (I've been down around your parts, Bec... wow... that's sounds way creepier than I wanted it to)

any hoo

"come to australia... you might accidentally get killed, with fear your pants will be filled and you might accidentally get killed"

Taifun, keep plugging away, it'll get easier. That's what i've been told anyway.

Hi Tonia

If you look back at the first page of Taifun's log Goodluckfox posted a great clip from youtube of just that song :D

Wow its really starting to seem like everyone thinks its pretty scary down this part of the world

Taifun - had to look up about emus and ostriches, you got me curious LOL. According to my very scientific google search the ostrich is the faster at 45 miles per hour but the emu might just win a marathon as they hold the record for walking furtherest apparently up to 320 miles in search of rain and therefore food. I know I'm a geek

No, I absolutely loved the two months I spent down there. I even slept out in the swag all by myself under Uluru. It's a beautiful place with lovely people!

Ok, I've been painting my house for the last two days, and my arms are shot. No simplefitting for me. Went for a 10K bike ride tonight to get some cardio. Still have some painting to do, but looking to do D1 tomorrow (hopefully it rains :-))

Never been to Oz, but if somebody wants to pay my way, I'm there, emus and all :-)

So, I've run out of excuses, and went for W2L1D1 tonight. All that house-painting must've been a good workout.

W2L1D1: 24 sets in 19:56.

Subbed 3x body rows for the pull-up, and went super-strict on the push-ups and squats, still everything went smoothly. Hands are a bit shaky though.

20070723 - W2L1D2 - 6:24 with just short breaks.

As usual 3:1 Body Rows (remarkably easy this time) and strict elbows-in push-ups. Squat form was good as well (Did my workout indoors for once, and had a mirror.)

W2L1D3 - 3:07

Bodyrows split 15 10 5 mainly due to grip
Pushups split 15 6 although I think I could've done 21 straight
Squats no split.

Need to think hard about what to do next:move on to L2, stay on L1 vanilla, or "spice up" L1. Probably heading off to a week long martial arts camp on friday, so I might delay my decision until afterwards.

A bit pressed for time this morning, so no replies anywhere else.
