Okay, since the tension here is so high I will reveal that todays workout was:

wait for it...

L1D1! I AM Luke Skywalker!

Since I'm heading off for a week I figured there's no point in pushing it. Anyways I was so pissed off and down this morning that I probably would've quit halfway through L2, I almost did anyway. This workout was more of a willpower workout than anything else.

Oh you want to know how I did? Well, as always subbing bodyrows, which were easy today, probably need a lower angle soon. Struggled more with form on the pushups, so it seems staying at L1 is the correct choice for now.

Oh, you want numbers as well? OK then,

W3L1D1: 30 rounds Yay! six up on a bad day, can't be bad now, can it?

The workout you don't want to do is often the one you really need to do.

I think my bodyrow is getting more extreme each week, as mm slips occur in the straps. I have to ask someone at the park on sunday to estimate my current angle. I suppose it's a good thing.

Ok, I'm back from camp. five days of 5+ hrs of training sure takes a toll. I'm going to take a couple of rest days before I return to the program. Might do a write-up on the conditioning parts of the week.

There's been a lot of stuff written during the week too. A great big "good work" to those who have been sticking with the program!

I use whatever is available where I am. At my work "gym" I use a jump rope, not perfect, but usable. At my outdoor workout spot there are some suitable pipes at the correct angle. I know a lot of people use rings.

I am doing simplefit tomorrow morning, no excuses. If I haven't logged something in 12hrs from now, you may call me on it.

Ok, here, and well within my own arbitrary time limit:

L2D2 - 5:45

5 rounds for time:
6x body rows
6x knuckle push-ups
10x weighted squats.

Considered whether to go back and repeat D1 since it's been nearly two weeks since last time, but decided to press on as I wanted more of a strength and form workout than an endurance hell...

Body rows went well, nice form and a good angle. Grip was better today too. Went for knuckle pushups which now feels like a good call. I had a bit of the shakes on the last set, so something was happening.

Practiced one-legged squats in my warm-up, but my knees are still too weak. They quit on me just before the 90deg angle going down. Did regular squats with a 2.5kg barbell instead. I'll probably move to a 5kg next time.

i've been tempted to try weighted squats and/or one-legged squats durring my workouts... the basic ones are too easy for me at level 1. An obvious imbalance in muscle groups.

good job!

Ho! Felt real good this afternoon, and got down on the floor in my office to do some additional push-ups. No way! As I was getting into the top position my arms just collapsed on me...
