L3D2 - 5:39

So about the same time as last week but all the pullups here were with quite good form, although I really had to struggle on a couple. I'm still having to do them as singles (I can just barely manage 2 at a time right now) so my next goal will be to increase the consecutive pullups.

Followed it up with 50 situps and tabatas on the bike (25 cal).

Anyways, feeling good and looking forward to taking on L3D3 again! 8)

A slight improvement over last week...

L3D3 - 7:23

I tried to power through the pullups a little too hard and ran out of steam around #10. The remaining 6 were torture.

I'm probably gonna do a rest week next week. My arms are feeling a bit overworked from all the pullups over the last few weeks.

I decided to hold off on the rest week as I'll be away for a few days next week so I'll rest then.

L3D2 - 4:56

All the pullups were parallel grip so officially this attempt doesn't count, but I was pleased that I was able to get really good ROM on all of them. Chest right up to the bar.

any grip is fine, just keep mixing it up pronated supinated neutral it will not matter when you can do 20. Good work!

L3D3 - 5:32

Stuck to all parallel grip pullups and was able to shave almost 2 minutes off last weeks time. I was pretty much cooked at the end of it though.

After about a 5 minute break I followed it up with 3 rounds of L3D2 at a slow pace using both chinup and parallel grip pullups and then after another short break tabatas on the bike.

Next week is a rest week for me so I'll probably drop down to L1 and maybe add in some light cardio.

Rest Week

First workout of the week was something I like to call Painting the Bedroom which involved, ummm... painting the bedroom. Also picked up 7 packs of flooring and hauled that in from the car.

Did L1D2 last night. Didn't keep track of time, just focused on form. The 2 pullups were done consecutive right through but still using parallel grip.

Followed it up with a 5 mile bike ride on the stationary. Time to beat 19:51.

Unfortunately my diet seems to be taking a bit of a rest week too so I think I might start logging my food next week.

Another L1D2, no clock, just focused on form. Pullups are really starting to come together.

5 miles on the bike - Time to beat 19:19

Back at it on Sunday night. Level 3 is goin' down!!

Had to skip Sunday nights workout. Spent all day Saturday and most of Sunday installing flooring which left my back and legs feeling pretty knackered. I hate to think how I'd be feeling if I wasn't in the shape I am now!

I may ride the stationary bike a bit this evening, depending on how the legs are feeling and then do L3D2 Tuesday evening.

Despite the 9 seconds I'm gonna move up to L4 next week. I'm just not feeling challenged by the pushups and squats so I need to step it up a notch. The progression in pullups (still my weakness) isn't too bad from L3 to L4 so I think it should be okay.

Also did 5 miles on the bike - 19:10(PR)
