Elbows-to-chest, knuckles, elevated feet, close-grip, wiiiiide-grip, vests, broccoli, one-arms, one-legs, one-arm-and-leg, broccoli, handstands, one-arm handstands.....

difficult enough?

hrm... my body doesn't let me do push-ups with my elbows parallel to my body... at best i can manage a 30 degree angle. My family has a history of shoulder issues and i think this is one of them. I can perform the entire range of motion with my shoulder... but i have zero leverage attempting a push-up with parallel arms. i actually never knew that there were different arm positions for push-ups until last year... i had always just done what felt most comfortable... and no one through PE classes ever bothered to mention that there were options.

Just slowly change the angle a little each week as best you can and make sure it does not hurt.
