So I'm hoping to fall into a routine of more strengthening exercises to complement my bicycle training.

I don't remember how I stumbled onto this website, but I tried L4D1 today and it was killer. Actually, as it seems to be for most people, the pull-ups were the cause of the "killer" review.

Regardless, I look forward to an easy ride tomorrow and a rest day for everything I've worked tonight. Then onto D3 and whatever else I can convince myself to do.

Thanks for making the schedule for me, I've got a shortcut to the workouts on my desktop!

I am 6' 2", somewhere in the range of 200lbs. 21 years old.

By most accounts I would be considered "skinny" or something of the like.

By the way, does it make sense to create a fuller body workout when you lock your legs together as if climbing a rope and pull upwards with your body when doing pull-ups? It may be that I'm cheating on the pull-ups themselves but they are the hardest part and to work the lower chest and core would be good I think.

Hi - welcome!

I find that I innately do a sort of crunch when I do pullups. I have noticed a definite change in my abs from this. I think that if I feel like adding a couple of moves and vary them occasionally - then I get a more well-rounded workout.
