After taking off for a few weeks for a back injury I'm back in the saddle. I did L1D1 assisted with a 3 to 1.

3 assisted pull ups
6 knee push ups
3 squats

I did 6 rounds in 20 minutes 11 seconds

Whew! Did Level 1 Day 2 assisted with a ratio 3 for 1, 5 rounds for time.

6 assisted pullups
18 assited pushups
10 squats

I did 5 rounds in 23 minutes and 55 seconds.

OK, I just got back from doing L1D3 at lunch. I did:

L1D3 Assisted with a ratio of 3 to 1

30 Assisted Pullups
63 Assisted Pushups
21 Regular Squats

Time: 17 minutes 41 seconds

Comments: I'm not going to lie. I was a little intimidated when I did the math and figured out I had to do 63 assisted pushups. I almost chickened out until I realized Wednesday I did 5 rounds of 18 which added up to 90. I told myself 63 should be a piece of cake and although the last few barely resembled pushups, I finished the set. I was sweating like a pig and breathing heavy, but I finished. I wasn't near as bad as L1D1. I almost enjoyed it.

Yeah, it always helps to see what you've done recently to know what to expect from the next workout. And when you split it up into smaller parts you can do so much more than you thought possible.

Great job getting back into it!

Yes I panicked when I did my first D3 with full subs, wasn't clever enough to add up my D2 numbers until after I did D3 :lol:

Level Day (Assisted) again. This time I did:

3 pullups-assisted
6 pushups-assisted
3 squats

11 rounds in 20 minutes.

Comments: I felt stronger today. Last week when I got to the end of the pushups they barely resembled pushups. This week, although they were knee pushups, I was going all the way to the floor on everyone. :D

slow & steady wins the race Dan. As you do more, you'll feel better and better and be tempted to overtrain. You're doing great though. Glad to have you back.
