Level 3 Day 1; Take 2...

I decided to give Level 3 another run this week. I improved to 31 rounds, up from 25 the first go around. I'm kicking ass on the pullups!

I'm still hovering around 148-149, but we all know how tough the holiday meals are. I was smart but not rude at the dinners. I did try most of everyone's dishes, but in very small portions. That's the key, I believe.

Level 3 Day 2 :Take 2

I really concentrated on the form this day, and had no problems with any of the exercises. I added 1 pullup to each count. I have begun to use the Day 2 programs for execution of correct form, and I look forward to the Day 2's now.

I don't really time anything but the 3 minute rest time anymore on Day 2, as this is my form and function day.

I time it loosely, but I follow the same idea as you do for that day and find that my form really improved that way.

Level 3 Day 3: Take 2

Doing the 33 pushups after the pullups while attempting to stay under 5 minutes is really intense.

After running a mile in 10:32 on the treadmill, I did another 10 dead hang palms up pullups for good measure. Dang, I'm alot stronger using this grip!

Level 5 Day 1: 23 Rounds. I finished out Level 4, but didn't post. Sorry.
Having the door gym around really makes practicing pullups easy. I crank out a few each time I pass by it.

Level 5 Day 3
Practicing pullups every single day helped me out here. I made it in 5 min 20 sec. Once you get the number of pullups this high, and you have to do more than 40 pushups right after that, makes Levels 5 and up tough.

Dammit! This one is hella tough to get done in under 5 minutes. I didn't make the 5 minute mark, so I am stuck on Level 6 for another week.

Level 6, Day 1, Week #2
27 Rounds! This was much better than the first attempt. It actually felt much easier, too. I'm hovering around 144 lbs now. :D

I've been off the forum for awhile, but I haven't quit the program!

I just finished Level 7 Day 3 in 9 minutes and 33 seconds. Yeah, I know it's not 5 minutes, but it's hella tough!

Second attempt at Level 7 day 1: 22 Rounds in 20 Minutes
Also, It seems as if my body is happy at the 138-140 pound mark. My waist size is a 30, and as long as I watch my sodium intake and drink lots of water, my definition is very, very good. 8)

Level 7 Day 3: Take 2

40 pullups
80 pushups
80 squats

Done in approx 11 minutes. :?

I was so damned pissed off that I couldn't get it under 9 minutes, I took a 2 minute break and busted out 20 more pullups and 20 pushups consecutively.
