18 rounds ... found the Chins pretty tough after the 10th round.

4mins 22secs .... pretty pleased that I don't feel atal stiff & sore today after the 2nd day of the workout. Especially considering I ached all over after the 1st day!!
this is what I train on

5 mins 20 secs
Chins defo me weak point, could only do 3 at first, then lucky to get 2 a time after that. Push ups, managed 10, 5 and finally 6. Squats were fine.
When's the best time to level up? I was thinking of doing level 1 again, but I don't know if it'll help my stamina.

Have decided only to move up a Level once I know I've progressed on each of the different workout sections.
Improved by 5 rounds from last week. Chins were definitely easier than they were on this section last week!!
Oh happy days!!

Hi and welcome !
That last workout must have been L1D1 then, right ? 23 rounds is pretty good.
Regarding levelling up : "If the workouts take longer than 30 minutes or less than 5 minutes, decrease or increase your level, respectively".
So you're pretty close
Nothing prevents you from trying Level 2 before though !
Have fun !

yeah I guess I should have put L1 D1 (2nd Week) down instead
I'm just the type of person who wants to see an improvement over the same level as before. I got through 5 more rounds this week from last one so I was pretty pleased with that.
I think next week I'll Level up (as long as I can knock 20 seconds off my L1 D3 time of course). Chins are still my week spot, but hopfully they'll have progressed even more by then, as the D3 parts are a killer!!

L1 D2 (2nd week)
3mins 45 secs
I'm happy to see that I knocked off almost 30 seconds from last week, mainly because it confirms the fact that the 2nd time I did L1D1 and got 5 more rounds wasn't just the result of having a good day, it was that my body strength and endurance has really changed in a week.
Roll on D3!!

L1 D3 (Week 2)
5 mins 31 secs
Very disappointing, 11 seconds slower than the first time ... how did that happen

Am pretty pleased that I was able to beat my orginal L1 D1 rounds total, even though I was doing more push up and squats.
I can feel it in my chest today already, haven't had that since my 1st day doing the workout, those 20 extra push ups defo made an impact

Could be worse, could be L2 to L3.. (extra pull-up).
Nice work on D1!

5 mins 36 Secs
Happy with that, I was aiming for under the 6 min mark.
Trying to get some friends to start up the programme too, so hopefully they'll jump on the bandwagon!

Found this one pretty tough.
I think I have learned a valuable lesson though. You're meant to train to 2 reps below failure ... and now I know why.
I trained to failure on my first set of reps for both the Chins and the Push Ups and I was left as weak as a kitten after that. For example, I did 4 chins first and it took me another 5 or 6 goes to finish the set, leaving me with a time of almost 3 and a half minutes for the one exercise beacsue of the amount of rest I need after each attempt!!
I'm a wiser man after this

That's part of what day 3 is all about, learning your limits as well as balancing your time and energy. Good work!

L2 D1 (2nd week)
I was pleasantly suprised with this result, the most rounds I've done since I started the programme 4 weeks ago. I paced myself a bit better than usual and found out at the end that I'd done 1 more than I thought I had (I count each round by throwing a cd in the ground ... a bit unorthadox). I had almost 20 seconds left after I finshed my last full round, so it's a pity I hadn't moved a bit quicker through one of the previous rounds as I could have fit in another one.
Roll on Day 2!
