That's an awesome start- I can't even do a 1 unassisted pull up. I just started yesterday too. Hope we stick with it.

Level 1 Day 2

I did all 5 rounds, the 1st 3 unassisted (spelled correctly this time) and the last 2 I needed a little jump to get going. I did not time myself because I only thought of it after I was through with 2 rounds.

I have been reading since I have been back home that I should be doing 3 assisted PU instead of one unassisted. I did not do that. It seems that it could even be harder if all I do is a little jump. I will try it next time, though.

I ran to the schoolyard (only a few blocks) to do my exercises and then 1/2 way back. I am trying to learn the pose form of running, today being the first day.

I was hesitant to keep this log because I was thinking why does it matter? and after my fourth round this morning I was thinking about calling it a day and not overdoing it. I thought about posting here and for some reason I did not want to tell people I do not know that I did not do the full rounds, so I did one more. So for whatever reason, even if lame, it works!

You are welcome.
Accountability will do a lot of positive things for you, which is why it is encouraged to post and participate in the community. We know there are a lot of 'lurkers' here, and maybe even those who register just to use the workout logging tool, but I'd be pretty sure that those who do register and participate stick with the program longer and are much less likely to 'skip it' or quit out of convenience.

Fitness is a lifelong goal, not a crash diet.

D3 L1
I did all reps, I did assisted PU after the 3rd one. I had to take a few breaks to finish the push ups. I was feeling the squats at the end for the first time.
I have completed my first week of simplefit!

Congrats on the first week. Are you going to repeat L1 or move up? I am going to repeat it for sure. BTW, are you tracking times, or just doing the exercises?

I am going to repeat L1. Are you supposed to move up even if you cannot do all the pull ups without assistance? Or can you still substitute the 3:1 and if your time is under 5 minutes still move up?

I did not time my self this week.

There are different takes on moving up while still subbing.

I did not move until I had pullups - but pullups were a main goal for me. I wasn't looking to lose weight.

Thanks, volleyball man. That was my thinking, too. Or at least way better at them.

Today was L1D1W2
I exercised for 20 minutes. The first 5 were good, 6 good sets, then I slowed down. I lost count of the total. Some kids were running around the playscape and one challenged me to count to 100. I did it! Maybe that should be part of the program, too.

I have been out of town since last Saturday. I exercised twice, so there were 2 days off in between each day. I was busy and had to squeeze them in while at the hotel. It was not ideal but at least I did day 2 and 3. I will keep a better schedule this week.

OK, after you emphasized the importance of a regular schedule I got sick :( and did not exercise until yesterday.
I did L1D1, I did not count the rounds, but overall I was pleased with my pull ups. I know I did more than I have in the past. It felt good and today I feel good and sore.
This is first post in my whole life that I have used an emoticon.
