Hi all, I am creating this log on behalf of my wife. I am doing this because she hasn't really been motivated in the past to work out, and I am hoping she will have confidence when she looks back on this weeks and months from now and see how far she has come. Hopefully she will take it over soon. She gave birth to our son 7 weeks ago, and on Thursday she began the simplefit program.

Her workout consisted of the level 4 program, a bit modified because she didn't like the 1, 2, 3 approach of level one. She substituted body rows for pull-ups, but I hope she'll be motivated to try assisted negatives soon.

X rounds for 20 minutes:
Body-rows: 5 reps, hopefully she scales this down so she can do more rounds
Push-ups on knees: 10 reps
Squats: 15

She didn't think this would work, but the next day she was sore. I'll try to post weight and vitals soon so she can track her progress.

Here workout from yesterday was the level 4 5 rounds for time workout, which she completed in 9 minutes.

I hope this boosts her confidence in the workout that she's doing. Her whole body was sore from the first simplefit workout, which I told her was a good sign.

The next workout will be on Monday, so she has her weekends to rest.

I'll tell her the good news. Well she had some concerns initially and waited for the doctors approval related to post-pregnancy issues, but now shes back.

Last night she did the 3rd day workout. I'll need to make it a little tougher for her I think. Probably by changing the leverage on them. The body rows were too easy for her. I need to look to get some rings or get creative and find a surface to do inverted rows.

Thanks for the idea about the inverted rows. I can't believe I didn't think about that.

Anyway, using a modified level 4, since she found the low reps boring, here is today's workout:

Rounds for time, 20 minutes
Inverted Rows: 4 reps
knee pushups: 4 reps
Squats: 6 reps

Total rounds: 15
