So I've been lurking around this site for awhile now, as well as other paleo type sites trying to gather as much information as possible before embarking on my quest. As you can guess from the title, I would like to see my abs again.
I used to be an endurance athlete, working out like crazy 2+ times a day. It was impossible for me to gain any weight back then no matter what I ate. Now that I've succumbed to a desk 8+ hours per day, things are a little different. Most people would not consider me overweight, as I have a very small frame. However, I'm sure my bf% is fairly high as I packed on quite a few pounds at the beginning of this year.
I don't have any means of measuring bf% accurately, but I plan to at least take weight measurements and more importantly photos of my progress (or lack thereof).
So anyways, my goal is to trim down the fat so that I can see my abs again, and then undertake a muscle building plan from there. I plan to do this through a combination of random modes of exercise, as I am convinced of Art DeVany's approach to fitness. Most importantly, I plan on embarking on the simplefit plan as soon as my pullup bar arrives.
I'll start a workout log as soon as I begin, and appreciate any comments that anyone has to offer. Thanks to all for such a great and inspiring site!
