Hi All,
So here I am. Sick. Tired. Sick and tired of being sick and tired. I never wrapped my head around the fact that when the college sports days are done you have to either keep up the brutal year round fitness routine or drastically change your "off-field" habits. Guess which one I chose. 3 years ago I hit my all time high of 219lbs. Bring on the Tony Horton. I did 1.5 rounds of P90X. Dropped 30lbs. Then I got a real job that demanded most of my time. Lots of travel. I like P90X but it is not sustainable. Enough excuses. I've been hovering around the 205lb mark for the better part of 2 years. My BMI tells me I'm overweight (damn near obese). My body fat tells me I'm....well, fat! I feel like the only reason I'm not worse off is my nutrition. I have always had a clean-ish diet. Except delicious craft beer. Damn I love craft beer!
I found this site during a life transformation (I'm going minimalist!). The whole concept fits my attitudes and beliefs. This is not hype. This is not "trendy". This is real.
So here I am. The vitals:
28.8 years old. 205lbs. 5'11". Body Fat = 25.81. BMI = 28.6.
My journey began this week. I'm starting on level 1. God speed...
I'll do my best to check in frequently and add progress reports.
