    Height: 1.74 m (5'9'')
Goal
  • Weight: 180-190 Lb
Just started today on SimpleFit, currently at L1D1. Doing 3:1 subs on pullups (with body rows) because:
  • 1. Can't do a full pull up to save my life
    2. Don't have access to a pull up bar
My goal, to put it more precisely, is actually taking care of my physical self, since I don't have any endurance nor cardio capacity. I'm pretty much a potato couch, but I want that to change. I am well aware this is a long process, but I'm it for the long run, because I owe it to myself.

I'll keep a weekly log here, with the results of each day and whatnot. So yeah, that's pretty much it. xd

Wow... I won't lie, I'm not precisely trustful of the scale, but it is the same I used last time (which marked me at 204; the 205 came from the combination of this one and another scale); still, it is a good indication that my new lifestyle is starting to pay off. That's 6 or so Lb in 6 weeks, which for me, is pretty awesome.

I'm not sure if it's too slow, in terms of others, but it feels right with me, it really does. I feel like I'm finally doing something for my life and that alone makes it all worth it.

More results! I'm, honestly, incredibly happy with the results I'm getting from my change of life; I feel healthier, more confident, more alive... all around better. With that said, there is a new change in all of this, and that is my goal.

Starting goal
  • Weight: 190-180 Lb
New goal
  • Weight: 175-170 Lb
Which, according to several indexes, should be closer to my ideal weight according to my age and height. Let's see how it goes!

Goal (new-ish)
  • Weight: 170-165 Lb
Third check up with the goal board, and I still keep going strong. After going to a nutritionist, she told me my ideal weight it's closer to the 165Lb mark, so that's why I changed the goal slightly. Currently at L5 of the program and feeling quite confident about it; I do wonder how much difference would it make if I actually started doing pull ups instead of the body row subs.

So yeah, holiday season hit and I gained 2 Lb since the last check up. Considering how much junk food I ate due to the various end-year gatherings, only a 2 Lb seemed like heaven sent. xD

Still, I need to keep up and start on my normal diet again; I can't lose sight of my goal, not right now that I'm pretty close to it.

I'm at a loss for words; I honestly can't believe myself to being this close to reach my goal weight. I thought I was going to make it to 180 Lb after the holiday season, but never once it crossed my mind that I was going to drop this good and this fast.

The last stretch and then keep the weight for as long as I can.

I'm just that much closer to my final goal and it just feels right, you know? It's been a long journey from my first week with Simplefit, but it sure has been worth it, all of it. :)

I made it. I really made it. :) I was out of words when I went to the doctor and he took my weight; I actually made it. I thought it was going to take a year or so, but after 8 months or so, I managed to reach my ideal weight.

From now on, I have to find the way to keep my weight around that mark and not drop too much from it.

Well done, man! That's a really significant achievement! I know from experience that it's a weird feeling to hit your goal and wondering where to go next. Maybe now your goals can be based on feats of strength or in your sf progression rather than weight.

Yup, I'm having a hard time deciding where to go with SF now; since for the time being going to a gym for strenght training is out of the question. I do have some ideas to shuffle SF into working some muscle sets I left uncared for the longest time, though.

Nice, so I'm at 160Lb right now and feel pretty good with the way I look. I've been getting some "try to not get too thin now" advice, which I agree with, and thus wondered how to go about with SF. At first I thought of doing week on, week off routine, but when I tried that my body lost the habit and I had a hard time getting into the zone again. So I've decided to keep going with SF every week, but having 5 foods a day (three normal plus fruit or something light in the middle of the morning and middle of the afternoon).

In regards to SF itself, and in part due to modifications/loss of body row bar, I also decided to substitute body row for crunches, since I never really did any exercise that focused on my abs muscles; let's see how it goes.
