I'll be honest... my first goal is going to be remembering to do this. :D My memory is not so great.
If I can remember to do it for a week, I'll be thrilled.
I'm in a time of great change in my life. Since I had to go gluten-free it was a simple step to go primal/paleo (I won't split hairs - just following the basics of both and trying to find what makes me feel healthy) and the surge in energy and clarity that has given me has given my confidence enough of a boost to try adding some targeted basic exercise.
It's soon going to be warm enough to bike to work (my goal from last year) and now that I know I can take the bus to the top of the scary hill with my bike, I can start slowly instead of overdoing it. Well, if my work location doesn't change, that is. That's one of those things that is up in the air.
I have the energy to stay awake from morning to night now, and that is going to let me do things for fun instead of for necessity! How exciting is that?
I guess my goals are to become a stronger person, both physically and mentally. I will measure that by being able to ride my bike to work and back and not need a nap.
I'll be able to cope with the stress of change in my life, to embrace new things and let go of old. I will choose to be happy.
I will be able to do a pull-up! A real, no-cheat, tough-chick pull-up! Then 2. Then 10. Rawr!
Mostly, I will give up the idea that this is either going to be a success or a failure. The only failure will be to do nothing and keep going as I have done. Anything is better than nothing.
