OK, here's the sitch. This past week has been perhaps the most unbelievable in my life. My husband and I own two businesses -- a joint venture with the parent company. We have found ourselves in the midst of hostile takeover as of this past weekend. This week has been un-frickin-believable as we have tried to pre-empt those things put in motion and save our businesses, our livelihood. Frick frick frick.
It looks as though we will be able to preserve one of them, no thanks to the suck-ass-old-boys-club corporation we find ourselves in bed with. So, we are breathing a little bit easier, and I hope to get some actual sleep in the days ahead.
Anyway, I'm posting because for the past five or six days I have not kept any form of my nutrition or exercise plan in the least bit. No use crying over spilt milk as they say, nothing to do but move forward.
So, as of tomorrow morning, Flutterby is back kicking ass and taking names. Nutrition? Check. Exercise? Checkity check. Stickin' it to the Man? You better effing believe it.
Anyhow, I know that the first three days will be the hardest, not only will I be getting back into routine but we are prepping for a three-day Open House starting the day after tomorrow. (Thank you, you effing buggery buggers that are trying to ruin my life and now I am selling my home...! #$@!!!&$#%) So, I will be posting my food log and exercise here for the next three days. Just for some extra accountability and support.
