Not a bad article at all. Interesting take on where a good diet comes from.

Cordain is a pretty amazing scientist the evolutionary perspective is very useful, I first heard about that stuff from Rob wolf of the performance menu who in my opinion is a nutritional genius.

If I eat "paleo" I stay around a lean 175 but if I start eating breads and grains I can go up to 212 no problem so for me it has been a real revelation. My whole family is very overweight and I have the potential but paleo really works for me.

My wife is pretty thin and super healthy/athletic no matter how much bread and rice she eats so once again it all comes down to the individual and how your body responds to carbs.
