No doubt you're bang on the money Prometheus. I've been diligent about doing nothing 8) and as the week is progressing I feel the benefits of the rest week. Strangely I dropped 2 pounds in this week of doing nothing???

Week 33

L3D1
25 sets (no subs, chin-ups in singles)

L3D2
5:30 (no subs, chin-ups in 2-1 sets)
A lot slower than last week but form was better

L3D3
5:22 (no subs)

Week 34

L3D1
25 sets (no subs, chin-ups in singles)

L3D2
5:18 (no subs, chin-ups in 2-1 sets)
A lot slower than last week but form was better

L3D3
5:19 (no subs)

That was the continuation from my rest week. Sadly, at least from a workout standpoint, I went on vacation in the Caribbean for 3 weeks and that meant, yup, no workouts!!

Anyway back now and figured I'd start back at Level 2 to see how that treats me after a long break...

Week 35

L2D1
35 (no subs)

That's 2 less than my PR for D2 so I guess not bad but it sure kicked my ass. I was concerned that I might have lost the ability to do pull-ups so this was a pleasant surprise despite the pain.

L2D2
4:08

L2D3
3:44
That's a PR for D3 but I gotta say that the pull-ups seemed harder than normal and form suffered. Maybe that's due to the 5K prior to D3 or last nights trap and glutes workout? Either way I may demote myself to L2 for a bit longer...

Well I really didn't feel like a work out at all today. But, I figured I'm at work with down time so it would be stupid to give up the chance to get "paid" while working out so I hopped on the elliptical for a 25 min warm-up then did the workout. Glad I did as I hit a PR. That said my shoulder feels awfully sore right now. Hope I didn't hurt it.

Week 36

L2D1
42 (no subs)

L2D2
3:45 (no subs)

L2D3
3:36 (no subs)

I was at level 3 but then went on vacation and did essentially nothing for three weeks so I thought I'd do a couple weeks at level 2 to get back into it and avoid getting hurt. I'll be back to level three next week and hopefully it won't be kicking my ass like it was before my "break"

Week 37

L3D1

27
(17 no subs, the rest 3-1 body rows; I actually got to 27 & 3/4 but the buzzer sounded on squat 3 of five... soo close...)
I should have started subbing maybe at 15 as the last two form was out the window. I figure I've go to get these numbers in the mid thirties to make a sub 5 min D3 so it's going to be a long while on L3. :x

L3D2

L3D3

Will update
