yes, with 44 rounds on L1D1, you should definitely move up. give L3 a go.

Is it okay to move up right away, I was figuring I would just progress through each week as I can?

More about me:

6' 1" 200 lbs,
I found out about this site on MDA (Mark's Daily Apple), I have been eating as primal as possible and had been lookign for a workout plan that fits into having 3 young children that keep me busy. I did one session of P90X, but the time requirements are just too much to keep up with for me. Anyhow I am lookig forward to progressing and seeing the results.

if you feel you are up to it matt, skip a lvl or two. after all, it says on the "How to get started" page:
Choose a level from below that is right for you
some people even start the program on, say, lvl 4.

having said that, there's nothing wrong with going through the lvl's week by week until you find the lvl that is "right for you".

I chose to do each level instead of skip ahead, but on the early levels I opted to skip some rest days. I just listened to my body and did a level when I felt up to it. I can't remember when I started waiting a full day between workouts, but you'll know when to scale back.

Ruli & Smooth - Thanks for the info. and suggestions. I think I am going to go through each level and see how it goes, I figure I will hit a wall soon enough. I know I am only 2 days in but am liking the idea of this workout. When are you supposed to take a step back week, is it once a month or so? Thanks again

Generally, I've done a rest workout every fifth week starting around Week 7. See: viewtopic.php?f=4&t=1316

i can't imagine how a time of 2:43 on L3D3 can be tough!!!
