Week 143
- Monday, December 27, 2010
D1L7: - 25 +1 (+3 cf. previous D1L7, -4 cf. previous PR)
Woo. So hard.
Numbers moving up again.
So. Hard.
The "+1" above is an extra round I added after the 20 minutes had run out.
Wednesday, December 29, 2010
D2L7: - Untimed.
Day 2 is always surprisingly hard.
Wednesday, December 22, 2010
D3L7:- 7'16" (+1'41" cf. previous D3L7, +1'41" cf. previous PR)
Pull-ups: 40 (24-7-3-3-3)
Push-ups: 80 (30-14-14-6-4-6-3-2-1)
Squats: 80 (40-23-12-5)
Been dreading it, but I did Day 3 for the first time since Aug. 7, 2010.
Form was only OK:
Pull-Ups:
Full extension: NO
Push-Ups:
Chest to floor: NO
Elbows at sides: NO
Hands positioned below shoulders: NO
But, well...there it is.

Week 144
- Monday, January 3, 2011
D1L7: - 24 +3 (-1 cf. previous D1L7, -5 cf. previous PR)
The "+3" above is an extra round I added after the 20 minutes had run out.
I don't count the +n rounds in my total for the day, but they help me make progress
Wednesday, January 5, 2011
D2L7: - Untimed.
I did it this way:
16/48/80
8/24/40
16/48/80
It was hard.
Saturday, January 8, 2011
D3L7:- 5'42" (-1'34" cf. previous D3L7, +7" cf. previous PR)
Pull-ups: 40 (28-4-4-4)
Push-ups: 80 (30-12-12-10-6-5)
Squats: 80 (50-2010)
Beat last week's time by 1'34" and only missed my PR by 7 seconds! I am pleased.

Week 145
- Monday, January 3, 2011
D1L7: - 26 (+2 cf. previous D1L7, -3 cf. previous PR) .
Creeping up is hard work!
Especially pleased with this workout as I felt rather gassed even before starting—proof that desk job fatigue has little to no relation to physical fatigue.
Wednesday, January 5, 2011
D2L7: - Untimed.
Maybe one of these weeks I'll do Day 2 slowly, with perfect form...but I can't imagine the agony of that!
Saturday, January 8, 2011
D3L7:- 4'55" (-00:47 cf. previous D3L7, -00:40 cf. previous PR)
Pull-ups: 40 (30-4-3-3)
Push-ups: 80 (30-10-10-10-6-4-5-4-1)
Squats: 80 (50-15-10-5)

Week 146 - Level 8 - The Ocho
- Wednesday, January 19, 2011
D1L8: - 18 +1, PR.
I wasn't sure how to approach this. I started off intending to pace myself, maybe even take it easy. Then it got hard.
18 is a good benchmark; one I hope to beat next week.
Saturday, January 22, 2011
D3L7:- 9:02 PR
Pull-ups: 50 (20-10-5-5-5-5)
Push-ups: 100 (25-21-4-15-12-10-2-7-4)
Squats: 100 (50-25-25)
I don't have my notebook with me, so I will have to enter the subsets of the rounds later.
What's cool about this level is that the sets are so big, they add up to a real workout!

Not too brutal.
Unusual for a Day 2!
Saturday, January 29, 2011

Week 149
- Monday, February 7, 2011
D1L8: - 20 (-2 cf. previous D1L8, -2 cf. previous PR)
Tired today due to two late nights over the weekend.
Saturday, February 12, 2011
D3L8:- 8:04 PR (-00:29 cf. previous D3L8, -00:07 cf. previous PR)
Pull-ups: 50 (20-6-4-4-3-3-3-3-1-1-1-1)
Push-ups: 100 (37-8-10-10-10-8-5-5-5-2)
Squats: 100 (65-15-20)
I couldn't get into my kipping rhythm and that meant I didn't get very many pull-ups in the all-important first set.
(If I can get a huge number in that first set, it really helps my lower my overall time.)
Somehow, I still managed a PR.
Yay.
