First set I do pullups, second set I do chin-ups, and continue to alternate.
I use the perfect pushup twisting handles for the pushups.

Level 5:
Day 1 = 30 sets
Day 2 = 7:39 (1 minute breaks between sets)
Day 3 = 5:58

Level 6:
Day 1 = 28 sets
Day 2 = 7:53 (1:30 minute breaks between sets)

Hopefully 1 more week of level 6 will get it done.

Level 6
Day 1 (July 18th 2011) - 30 sets
Day 2 (July 20th 2011) - 5:18 (took 1.5 - 2 minutes between sets)
Day 3 (July 22nd 2011) - 4:57

LEVEL UP!!!

Day three was definitively a killer. Only had just over a minute to get those squats in, but I made it.

Day 3 (July 29) - 10:46 Did these days back-to-back. Didn't feel sore until I got into the exercises. Hope to better this time next week when I take my normal day break.

Level 7

Day 1 (Aug. 16) - 24 reps; Took breaks after 14 and 18 sets, then alternated 2 sets/ 1 minute break until I hit 24. Was able to squeeze out 2 extra reps, but it wasn't easy.

Day 2 (Aug. 17) - 6:12; 2 minute breaks between sets

Day 3 (Aug. 19) - 7:46; took Jack3d before the workout for an extra boost.
Pullups: 20/10/6/4 (~30 sec in-between each)
Pushups: 30/20/15/15 (~30 sec in-between each)
Squats: 50/30 (short break to shake out the legs).

Interesting way to break up day 3. Never tried resting that long (always only a few seconds for me - most of my pullups on day 3 end up being singles). Might have to try that approach.

Without the 30 second break, I could usually only must 3 to 4 reps before dropping again.

Level 7

Day 1 (Aug. 22) - 26 reps; Took breaks after 16 sets and 20 sets. For the final 4 sets I doubled up the routine (not sure if this is cheating) - Did 8, 16, and 24 for each exercise and counted it as 2 sets.
Day 2 (Aug. 24) - 5:54
Day 3 (Aug. 26) - 6:09

Felt pretty good coming off my rest week from simplefit.
Day 1 (Sept. 5) - 26 reps
Day 2 (Sept. 7) - Untimed
Day 3 (Sept. 9) - 4:57

Finally get to move onto level 8. I did cheat however, by knocking out some of my pushups while resting between pullup reps.
24pullups, 10 pushups, 6 pullups, 10 pushups, 5, pullups, 10 pushups, 5 pullups, small break, then inbetween sets of pushups I started on my squats. By the time pushups were done, I had about 40 seconds to knock out the final 30 squats.

Level 8 {week 1}
Instead of using the perfect pushup, i switched to hands up pushups (bring hands off ground at the bottom of pushups)
Day 1 (Sept. 12) - 16 reps, certainly get much more winded with the additional reps on the sets.
Day 2 (Sept. 16) - Untimed
Day 3 (Sept. 19) - 15:29

Level 8 {week2}
Instead of using the perfect pushup, i switched to hands up pushups (bring hands off ground at the bottom of pushups)
Day 1 (Sept. 21) - 18 reps, Kept a watch on the time, averaged 1 set per minute with a couple 1 minute breaks
Day 2 (Sept. 23) - Untimed
Day 3 (Sept. 26) - 14:30, those extra pullups certainly took a toll. Gonna take some work to get this time down.
