L5D2:

Change: -27 seconds
I was feeling sick to my stomach before day one but decided to try it anyway. Bad idea. I felt like I was going to die after 10 minutes and struggled through two more rounds before stopping the clock at 15:30.

L5D3, attempt 3:
5:07
Change: -1:14
I sacrificed my form too much on the pullups, though. If I had broken the 5-minute mark it wouldn't have felt right to move up.
L5D1: 24 Rounds
Change: +7
Here I kept good form. I paced myself better and that helped me perform more consistently throughout the 20 minutes. Before, I was getting wiped out by the 15 minute mark and completing almost no rounds after that.

Good week. I'm getting close to finishing this level. Even though my day 3 time went up, it was without cutting corners like I did last week.

Re: itsscience's log
This is terrific progress! I am coming to think that one of the limitations of simplefit is that you are always on the clock, which makes sticking to form a little more difficult.

Very true KTG. I was thinking about doing what Cheapo does and not using a timer for day 2, but for now I think my day 2 form is OK.

L5D3, attempt 5:

On to level 6 (!) after I take an easy week on level 3. I wish I had taken a picture when I started because my body has changed quite a bit, but here's a pic of me now:

Change: -12 seconds (but I did not know the rules the first time I did this level and jumped between exercises, so comparing the day 3 times is useless)
My form was as good as I know how to make it on every rep on all days and my day 3 exercises were done in one set each.

On paper the jump from level 5 to level 6 doesn't look so bad. Day 3 has 6 extra pull-ups, 13 extra push-ups, and 13 extra squats. I was already running up against my limit for endurance on L5D3, however, and getting those extra pull-ups and push-ups was really tough to do. Even the squats had me taking breaks.

After that, I had a lingering stomach sickness that made me lose 10 pounds. I'm getting back into it slowly by going through levels 3 and 4 before jumping back up to level 6.
