D3 to D1 relationship

Post by invisiblejk » Sat Jan 25, 2014 9:05 am

Mathematically, if D3 is extrapolated to D1, to accomplish D3 goals, one needs to get to 35 to 40 rounds on D1 in 20 mins. This looks like getting more and more real around L4. Till L3, I didn't have to do more than 30 rounds on D1 to eventually pass D3 test. On L4, I am upto 32/33 rounds on D1 and still can't pass D3 test.

How many are rounds are you doing on L4D1?

I have gotten up to 46 rounds on this one although I was able to pass this level while I was in the low thirties. I have always been OK with endurance type work. Probably the hardest part for me on the D3 workouts is the pullups, even using a kipping pullup. If you have the necessary strength and the equipment I would look into learning kipping pullups they will definitely help you get your muscular endurance up and a bit of strength. But anyways looking at your log you are doing great.
