Jeffb01's Log

Postby jeffb01 » Sat Aug 13, 2016 10:46 am

Hello everyone. Putting my log up here. I Hope it's okay.
Male, 44 years old, 5'7", 174 lbs, 35" waist

Day 1, Level 1: 41 sets

Pull ups have been the center of my workout over the last year with overhead presses, push ups and squats thrown in. I'm up to 9 on the first set, so I thought I was going to breeze through day 1. I even thought about skipping to level 2 or 3 to start, but I downloaded the app and couldn't figure out how to do it, so I stuck with day 1. I am glad I did. It was hardcore. I was really sweating it up during the workout. The air squats really got me. Doing the math, I did 123 squats in 20 minutes. when I was done, my legs felt like jello and I had a hard time walking down the stairs. I wonder how sore I will be tomorrow morning.

18August2016
Level 1, Day 3.

Time: 2:36
Pull ups (6, 4)
Push ups (15, 6)
Squats (21 with occasional micro breaks between them but since I never had to leave the position, I don't count them)

Next week I start level 2...

PS: does anyone know how to change the level on iPhone app?

EDIT: I figured out how to chang the level on the iPhone app - go to Profile --> Edit, then click the plus sign (+) to go up or minus sign (-) to go down a level.

20August2016
Week 2, Level 2, Day 1.

30 sets

Endurance days are my toughest day. I was really sweating. I moved up a level to 2, but my overall numbers were fairly consistent.

Last week totals (Level 1 at 41 sets):
41 pull ups
82 push ups
123 air squats

This week totals (Level 2 at 30 sets):
30 pull ups
90 push ups
120 air squats

My legs feel like jello again, but not as bad as last week. I had to run upstairs real quick and let the clock run so I probably could of fit in another set or two...

Thank you. I'm enjoying it. I checked out your blog. Impressive. I would love to do the exercises you do, especially the handstand push up.

Week 4, Level 3, Day 1. (2nd week at level 3)

30 sets

Improved by 3 sets (I did 27 sets last week). My pull ups hit a wall. At about set 22, I had to do 2 pull ups separately (putting my feet on the floor between each pull up)...
