I have a stomach bug - the pleasures which accompany the field of teaching. I get exposed to everything. I also have a 4yr old who goes to pre-k and contributes to the mix. We've all had it. I'll start back with L1D1 on Friday if all goes well!

Trust me, I know all about catching bugs. Nothing to do about it but relax and get well.

Take your time, you will probably come back stronger.

Thanks! I did!

7 minute walk - 5 minute stretch.

L1D1 16 rounds:
4 rnd - 3m rest
2 rnd - 2m rest
2 rnd - 2m rest
3 rnd - 2m rest
1 rnd - 1m rest
2 rnd - 1m30s rest
2 rnd

Re: stronger - I did dead-hang pullups on all rounds but 1 where I had to kip a bit. They felt very good - well under failure. I did start to lose form at the end and so I stopped a minute before the 20 min time was up.

If I stay at level 1 next week, I'll try stair-stepping the time in the other direction. I will see if this also has any bearing on the stair-steps of the rounds- hmmm?

I feel like I am gonna be ready for the body row challenge this weekend - watch out!!!!

Congratulations on your pull-ups. The higher levels aren't so bad, I promise. :)

L1D2

6m33s
2 r - 2m rest
1 r - 1m rest
2 r

Time without rest 3m33s

Did the OnDemand Football Flexibility prior.

Pushups were hard - probably hangover from the Body Row challenge. My arms were toasted from that.

I am feeling better about pullups.

Hello Level two!

L2D1

Well - since the only new part to L2D1 is an additional pushup and squat, I figured this would be essentially only a minor increase in difficulty.

HA

The extra pushup really saps energy! I don't seem to notice that the pullups is harder in terms of actual muscles used for pullups (lats and biceps). It was more just anaerobic endurance problem. Oh yeah - "strength BEFORE strength endurance!"

Hello L2 welcome back to my world body rows! :)

L2D1 14 rounds:
3 rnds - 3m rest
2 rnds - 2m rest
2 rnds - 2m rest
1 rnds - 1m rest
1 rnds - 30s rest
1 rnds - 3m rest
1 rnds - 30s rest
3 rnds (3x1 sub body rows)

I am still doing GTG with pullups 2 reps now and again. I think this is a good thing for me my: pullups are ever more comfortable (albeit far from perfect!). I might switch to GTG pushups soon.

I'm gonna feel this in my chest tomorrow
