Well, I'm not a doctor and even if I were I wouldn't suggest you take the advice of a doctor posting on a message board.
If it doesn't go away you should probably have it looked at as it could be some type of nerve damage. It could also be a symptom of something else like diabetes or stroke.
I don't want to scare you, probably just be that you're putting new pressure on the nerves in your wrist. If it's persistent it should be checked out, imo.
edit: I agree with vbm, I don't want to sound alarmist. Just keep an eye on it and get it checked out if it doesn't go away.
