Optimum training level

Postby psykro » Mon Feb 02, 2009 2:43 am

Hi all. I am new to the simplefit program, have added it as a lunchtime workout as it is perfect for that 30 minute block one has to train during lunch.

I started three weeks ago and I'm working on level 4 and complete the days workouts as follows.

Day 1: 16 rounds
Day 2: 8min 30sec
Day 3: 10min

What I want to find out is, at which point does one consider levelling up. I'm wanting to make sure that I get the best workout and also exercise for a decent amount of time (not less than 15 mins)

Also I find that on day three I don't necessarily perform the full set of exercise in one go (ie all pull ups one after the other). Does this mean I am at too high a level?

Thanks in advance.

[quote=simplefit.org]If the workouts take longer than 30 minutes or less than 5 minutes, decrease or increase your level, respectively.

When your D3 time goes down to 5 minutes or less, you level up. When it goes up to 20-30 minutes or more, you level down.

Nope. That's normal.
