Too Fast

Postby brent_corkins » Fri Jan 16, 2009 5:24 pm

Level 1 day 3!

Just curious ! Did I do something wrong or ??? I was done with my workout in about 5 minutes. I did 30 body rows,21 push-ups and 21 squats in 4:04. got my breath up and all but about it! Any suggestions. I think i need to step up a bit or add some ab and cardio work.

How close are you to getting a pullup? Decrease the angle between you and the floor on bodyrows to add more resistance.

Some say move up a level, I didn't leave level one until I had a pullup. Getting a pullup was my sole purpose in the beginning...

Not for sure. I think once i shed some fat it will help. I too want to regain the ability to do pullups.

Yeah - weight loss helped me get my pullup numbers going. You'll get it!

How's the diet? You mentioned in another thread that you are using the one on this site.

Okay did first workout for the week. Was a little tired from a long day at work and not the best weekend for rest and diet. I am still not at the point where i can do pullups , so I did body rows with a chin up bar at about chest level and put my feet a cpl feet in front of the bar. If that makes since.

So anyways I did level 2 day 1 for 31 rounds in 20 minutes. I think I actually did bodyrows for 4 reps instead of 3 a copl times.

Well just finished todays workout. Had to put it on hold for a night to see how i was going to do. Yesterday at work I was carrying a huge dresser, heaviest one i had ever picke up,lol. I was walking backwards up some stairs with it and caught my foot between the floor and first step. To make a long story short I tourqed my knee or hyper extended it wierd. So i realaxed on the couch last night with some frozen corn on it. lol. G/F son had left the ice pack out and it wasnt frozen. Was a little sore this morning. So i went ahead and did my workout. I finished level 2 day 3 in 4 minutes and five secs. using 39 body rows instead of pullups. Whew. Dont think it was too bad with a sore knee...
