Well in my part of the world it tends to be cold/wet/windy all of the time.

When it's sunny, we complain it's too hot!

I'm heading to your part of the world later in the year (family in Cape Town and Plett) - I'm waiting until it's your Spring!

L2D2 - untimed.

Focused on form. I'm pretty happy with my form in general now, the pullups (alternate grip) feel better - starting from a dead hang, arms straight. If I can resist the urge to chase the clock on D3 I'll be interested to see what my time comes out as.

L2D3 - 4:02.

Very surprised by this!

Form faded a bit on pullups on last 2, but on the whole were good.

Level up?

way to go don - congrats!!!
if you are happy with your form, lvl up - your time certainly allows you to. my approach is to do D3 twice under 5 min's before i lvl up, but that's just me.

I like that approach. I think L3 will be quite a step up.

One more week on L2 it is then!

I did a 12 mile walk on Sunday which really did knacker my legs so I missed my Monday morning run. Oops

Anyway, SF this morning, one more week on L2:

L2D1: 28 reps

Quite satisfying as the pullups (albeit neutral grip) and pushups are beginning to feel easier.

L2D2 - untimed

L2D3 - 3:29

Was amazed by this. The pullups (still neutral-grip) were slower than usual, but then I did 26 pushups in one go which I hadn't been able to do previously.

Squats are fine.

L3 next week and then a rest week as I'm going on a walking holiday for 3 days.

Cheers Ruli!

It looks like I'm not going to be able to stick to weekly routines for the next month or so: weddings, holiday, busy at work.

It's going to be a case of fitting a routine in when I can.

Looking forward to trying L3, I'm sure that extra pull-up is going to be a killer!

Very tired this morning after a long week and a big wedding at the weekend.

So, L3D1: 19 rounds.

All in all, pretty happy with that. The extra pull-up wasn't as bad as I'd feared. Press-ups and squats were fine.

L3D2: Untimed - focusing on form.

Pullups were ok although I'm still using neutral grip. I think if I tried a proper pullup I'd be back on L1 for weeks!

Pushups were good, I tried to keep them steady and not rely too much on gravity on the down part.

Squats were fine. I did these nice and slow so as to feel it in my legs.

D3's going to be tough - I think 6-7 minutes is a fair target (and yes I'm aware that putting a guess down could be hugely embarrassing when it comes to posting my actual result!).

that's my thinking as well, but u must remember - pull-ups is the real thing and you must strive to that.
just try a couple of them every now and again.
but heck, who am i to give advice - we started SF at the same time and u'r on L3 already - me, i've only done one week of L2 so far!
f#cking injury!!!!
