a lot has been asked, said and suggested regarding off day training.
what are your thoughts on tackling a boxing punch bag for a couple of minutes on your off days?

Couldnt hurt. I'd only go about 60% strength at a very max though. Could be a great way to injure or wear on your wrists/forearms and screw with your sf days.

I like that idea. I do a heavy bag and speed bag in my garage. Many times I do the speed bag as part of the warm up. The heavy bag if done properly is pretty taxing (for me anyway). I used to do it for fun after my runs on the off days. Not very often but some.
