OK, so I am going to log for all to see...

Week One
L7D1 20 rounds

L7D2 7:34

L7D3 8:42

Now that I have an official week under my belt doing each day as prescribed, it will be interesting charting my improvement. In addition to Simple Fit, I am running hard 3 times per week and riding my bike as recovery 2 times per week. I am trying to PR in the half marathon at the tender age of 45 on October 3rd....

Knocked it out of the park today...

Postby Blueraider_mike » Mon Jun 29, 2009 2:13 pm

This is my 2nd week, I am leaning what intensity is about. Last week , I did 20 rounds on L7D1, today - I did 25 rounds. I was on a pace to do about 28-30 and ran out of gas on the pullups, but still.

Its amazing what you can do if you go for it!

L7D3 7:39

Tried to kip, not sure I was doing it right, I got 13 ups, then 5, then 4, 4,4 then 2's and then 1's...I did shave around a minute off my time from last week. I modified the push ups and squats...Push ups, I did smaller sets with short rests...the squats I did larger sets...

Finished it all up with some core and ab work...

L7D2

Postby Blueraider_mike » Wed Jul 22, 2009 2:42 pm

Didn't track time, just focused on Form

L7D2,

On last set I did 10 pull ups and 30 push ups...

I feel like I am in no mans land, it may take me weeks go get to L8, I don't know how I am gonna shave off 90 seconds to get below 5 minutes for day 3.

What will you do when you "beat" L8?

Start mixing in some CF now. This will help you hurdle.

Hi Blueraider_mike !

These are excellent workouts !!

If L7 proves too difficult ( it must be *awfuly* difficult ...), maybe going back to L6 for a while could help ?

Anyway, have fun !

To be at L7 is pretty impressive in itself! You'll be at L8 soon enough. Giv'er!
