Also, five weeks isn't that long a time. I've been stuck at certain levels for months...

What about going back to earlier levels ? Trying to beat your personal bests ?
The idea is that it might translate into better performance at your current level, by providing more varied and gratifying workouts.

But, hey, I know the feeling... I did not break that plateau when I was at your stage, I'm hoping this time I will :)

If you do break it, please tell us what technique you used !

Thanks for all the feedback, i have one other question though is it really necessary to drop back and do a lower level once a month? if so why?

I believe the point of scaling back once a month is to give your body a break and prevent overtraining. If you've been really working hard then a week break will give your body extra time to recuperate, both physically and mentally. I don't like scaling back or taking breaks either, but I use that week to work on stretching and psych myself up for the next week.

Level 4 took me 6 weeks. With a time like 5'13" this week, you could be done by next week. Maybe.

On the other hand, Level 5 took me 8 months and Level 6 took 6 months, so be patient.

I made it past lvl 4 with a time of 4:41 seconds :D. What I did to beat it was break up the pullups into sets of 2 so Id do 2 pullups wait 5 seconds and then to 2 more it helped a lot in not letting fatigue set in.
