A few question before I begin...

Post by NoB » Tue Jun 29, 2010 10:22 am

Hi,

I'm new here. I've been working out at home over the last couple of weeks and it's been going pretty good. I was wondering though:

Does this routine work your entire body?
How long should the routines of Day 2 and 3 take?
Would it be a good idea to include burpees in the workout? Or could I maybe do those on Tuesdays and Thursdays? Or would that be too much?

Thanks!

Yes. All three exercises work the entire body. Push-Ups and Pull-Ups, specifically, do require a lot of stabilization "core" work.

D2 doesn't need to be timed, really. If your D3 takes more than 20 minutes, scale down. If D3 is faster than 5 mins, scale up.

I'd just stick with the program for two or three months, and level as required.

Agreed, your whole body will feel plenty of work. I've only been at it a month now, in two more months I'll let you know how much physiological progress I've made in terms of looks go. In terms of strength, I started level 2, and just leveled up to 4 tonight, so my ability at doing pull ups has far surpassed my previous ability with them, and I used to work on them pretty regularly at the gym. Good luck, I look forward to reading your logs.
